Review by hotel critic
I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming B & B in West Cork, and the experience was quite refreshing. Our host, Roy, was incredibly accommodating, ensuring our check-in was smooth despite our late arrival. The room was clean, tranquil, and had a comfortable bed, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. One delightful highlight was the traditional Irish breakfast offered daily. It was a comprehensive spread that included options for different dietary preferences, which I particularly appreciated. On one occasion, Roy even arranged for gluten-free bread upon request, showcasing his attentiveness to guests' needs. The location was a plus, making it easy for us to discover the beauty of West Cork and its coastal charm. We enjoyed a lovely picnic on the beach, having taken his recommendation for fish and chips nearby. The blend of modern comfort and traditional hospitality made my stay genuinely enjoyable. I left feeling rejuvenated and would consider returning during another exploration of the incredible landscapes and wildlife in the area. I encourage fellow travelers to consider this lovely spot for their next adventure in West Cork.
